Here's an oil portrait I'm working on. Run towards your dreams! I have a feeling the background is too large or something now. Not sure. It's coming along nicely though.
The Detroit Shoppe poster is also coming along nicely. Here's a sneak preview of the linoleum cut.

Also, the other day in a portrait painting class, I was pleased with the outcome of this one. The model was texting and smiling, so I asked her if she got a nice text. She responded that she was like a spider weaving a web. A little bit later she received a text and started smiling even more. "Did the web work?" I asked. She smiled, "Oh yes it did!" I thought it was pretty funny. I tried to catch her little smirk she was trying to hide in an effort to sit still while she was weaving away!

The Web woman's portrait is really lovely. I think you caught her smirk perfectly! Also, is doing a cut of linoleum difficult? Would you recommend that printmaking class??
